Beecell participates in the 13th annual GSM – 3G Middle East Congress
In conjunction with launching Mobile content in the UAE

Amman, Jordan (December 2008) – Beecell, Jordanian mobile value-added services solution provider, announced its participation in the 13th annual GSM-3G Middle East Congress taking place in Dubai, during the time period 15-16 December, 2008.

Reflecting the changing dynamics of the Middle Eastern telecommunication industry, and the market place at large, the 2-day Congress and accompanying exhibition has focused this year on the opportunities and challenges organized by convergence and the evolution to 3G, broadband and beyond.

Commenting on the Company’s involvement in the event, CEO of Beecell Bashar Hantouli said, “With the telecom sector being an ever evolving and fast-paced market, this event provides the perfect venue to discuss with sector experts and peers, the various opportunities and challenges presented in the telecommunications arena on a regional and an international level. With this, it is vital for us to take part in high profiled events such as this one, as we are committed to evolving our service and to continuously providing our customers with new mobile content services and interactive solutions."

As part of its participation in the event, Beecell, through its booth in the exhibition area, is to showcase its products and services and announce wider mobile operator connectivity and regional expansion in the future. This announcement came to effect through an agreement the company had recently signed with two UAE based telecommunication operators, adding them to the current 24 GSM operators in the Middle East and North Africa. On this, Mr. Hantouli added, “Within the next couple of months Beecell’s content will be available to mobile subscribers in the UAE. Content which we have accumulated in our corporate profile, by partnering up with more than a hundred content providers from across the region and around the world.”

The 2-day Congress will comprise a multi-streamed, strategic and technical conference alongside a networking exhibition, showcasing the products and services of over 150 international companies. The event participants this year will be granted the opportunity to join over 2,500 decision makers coming from 80 or more countries around the world in a space that allows them to network, and discuss the telecom industry’s challenges of a converging broadband world.
